The very recent news that the Scottish government has banned
genetically modified crops in the country has once again set the wires
alight with arguments from both the pro and anti-GM brigades.

Ostensibly, this decision and those like it taken by other legislatures around the world are branded for communication and PR as a 'public health issue'.
Yet even some of the most vehement anti-GM crop combatants might well be inclined to agree, albeit reluctantly, that there is very little hard evidence of there being any health issues associated with the consumption of GM produce.
