This smallest model of the Kubota pendulum spreader range is ideal for use on golf courses, sport field and grounds, as well as in many horticulture and municipal applications. The VS220 has a hardwearing polyethylene hopper with a basic capacity of 200 litres and an optional extension rim to create 330 litres hopper capacity. The compact design in combination with the short spreading surface gives you an optimal spreader for working in small areas. Spreading width from 1 – 15 metres is possible.

Cultivation Equipment

Kubota grass and straw choppers cope with whatever is required; every model is built for a variety of different tasks. Solid construction with a robust gearbox and very strong power transmission to the ‘V’ belts driving the rotor. The chassis is strengthened with double plating in the areas subjected to highest stress. The combination with Kubota’s precisely manufactured rotor shafts and hard wearing blades makes them extremely reliable. Minimal maintenance is required.

This plough series aims at light to heavy soil conditions and tractors up to 200Hp. The standard Auto-line system guarantees the correct pulll line at any time. Smart: It adjusts automatically. Robust ploughs fitted with an induction heat treated 1 box section frame. No welding to avoid weaknesses. The headstock and its main shaft are also heat treated for maximum strength. Choice of 85cm or 100cm interbody clearance. The clever design of the plough, and of the bodies associated to heat treated steels and hollow legs reduce the weight of the plough and make it easy to lift and to pull.

Seeding Equipment

For all tillage and row crop establishment methods, Kubota offers proven technology. Today Precision Farming has become more and more important. With GEOcontrol and GEOseed® Kubota offers two applications for the PP range that maximise the machine output and prevent double seeding. Even in total darkness your seeding results will be exceptional. The PP models can be used for standard or mulch seeding (depending on optional equipment). The PP series is available with working widths from 3.00-6.00m with flexibly adjustable row widths and a wide range of additional equipment.

The SD Series is the ideal machine for small, medium and large-sized farms and combines a compact, light design with the proven Kubota quality. Working widths from 3.0 to 4.5m are available. The power requirement is from as little as 55 kW due to the close centre of gravity. Due to the large hopper volume litres set-up times are reduced and the performance increased.

Thought of the month - Get Rid of the Splinter

At the start of a new year, everyone is focused on improving things.

New Year's resolutions abound, everything from vowing to wear more skirts to the office to committing to advanced education or maybe even trying for another baby! Everybody seems to enter the New Year with refreshed hope that all those wonderful things that we dream could happen will really come true this time.

But, is there something that you already HAVE in your life that is holding you back?

The other day, I saw my four year-old was limping noticeably. I asked him if something was wrong with his foot but he replied "no". This happened three or four times before he finally admitted that he had stepped on something and it had gotten into the bottom of his foot.

If there is one thing Douglas does not like, it’s Mommy or Daddy having to remove splinters. He was willing to put up with the pain of the splinter rather than admit that he had a problem. It was hard for me to understand why he preferred the pain of the splinter to the solution but, he was in denial. He had talked himself into believing that the splinter wasn’t that bad, that it would go away and that the pain would get better.

We laugh when we see a child behave this way but do you have a splinter in your life that you are ignoring?

Maybe your health isn’t so great or you owe too much money. Maybe you are having family problems or are afraid to fly in a plane. I’ll bet almost everybody has something that they are choosing to ignore.

I have a splinter but I’m not going to tell you what it is - and I won’t ask you about yours. Because I think the thorns in our life are too personal. It is easy to talk about our goals, our dreams and our schemes. It’s fun to share with people our hopes for the future, especially when we have set solid resolutions to see them to fruition but the splinters in our life are different.
